Ingegerd Björklund has showed her paintings in many solo art exhibitions. The most extensive one took place at Tyresö Castle,  Sweden, during the summer 2009, where she displayed 116 paintings. The exhibition "Zoofisticated" was very successful and was prolonged.

In November 2010 Dr.  Ingegerd Björklund was invited to the famous Belyaevo Gallery in Moscow. There she was going to exhibit on the theme "Dynamic Transformations - Alfred Nobel". During the time of the exhibition Ingegerd  Björklund would present her performances based on lyrics written by some Nobel Prize Laureates. These concerts for Soprano and Piano would take place both at the Belyaevo Gallery and at the renowned Glinka Museum in Moscow. Ingegerd Björklund was also going to offer concerts for Soprano and Organ at the Peter & Paul Cathedral, Moscow. Problems beyond Ingegerd Björklund's control occured and the whole project had to be postponed.

The following year Dr. Björklund was also invited to display her project "Dynamic Transformations - Alfred Nobel" at the world renowned Library in Alexandria, Egypt. Due to the political situation the project had to be postponed.

Since 2011 Dr. Ingegerd Björklund has successfully presented her art exhibitions and shows entitled "Offer - Dag Hammarskjöld". Based on Dr. Hammarskjöld's "Markings", Björklund has interpreted some  of his lyrics in her paintings as well as she has set music to some of them.

Comments from the newspapers:

* "Ingegerd Björklund, Opera Singer and Painting Artist, has been called "a feminine Bengt Lindström" because of her artistry.."

(Håkan Johansson, Värnamo Nyheter 2008-05-29)

* "The paintings are very colourful an in a distance one can look at them as a composition of colours, a soundless concert with form instead of tones. At a closer view an artistic miscocosm will be opened. There are innumerable pictures, joined motives, which are changing from time to time, as the eye is altering the focus. Because of thick layers of acrylic colour the motives are sometimes to be decribed as three dimensional  and they transmit strong feelings."
